12 Angry Jurors by Reginald Rose

In 12 Angry Jurors, I played Juror #7. Playing a saleswoman was really fun. Juror #7 was interesting to me, because she had more layers as a character than I’m used to playing. I liked to play her with a thin, exterior layer of charm, followed by more internal layers of stubbornness, prejudice, privilege, apathy, and judgement. Juror #7 was a bully, and I had a lot of fun figuring out the foundations of her character and exploring the power dynamics between her and the other jurors.
